Empowering Dreams While Staying Rooted in Tradition

Hi, I'm Maria Turner, a proud Latina mom, nonprofit leader, and advocate for creativity and resilience. As the Operations Manager at Sol Treasures, I have the privilege of building impactful arts programs that nurture a love for creativity in our community. With over 15 years in education and nonprofit management, I’m dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where people of all ages feel empowered to express themselves and find connections.

At home, life is filled with laughter, growth, and a touch of chaos (Ok, ALOT of chaos) as I raise my three beautiful daughters and juggle life alongside my husband, a firefighter who often sacrifices time from home for our community’s and State safety. Inspired by my own journey, I’m launching an idea about the resilience of mothers, and fathers – celebrating the strength of our roots with “Raíces Fuertes, Sueños Grandes,” which reminds us to dream big and never give up. 

My mission is to uplift and inspire other parents, creatives, and community members to pursue their passions and keep going, no matter what. Together, we can create a community that supports one another, celebrates culture, and encourages each other to achieve our dreams.
